Colleen initiates a hook kick
Colleen (JRRMAS Karate-do staff) shoots her (rt) leg out straight (like a side kick) several inches in front of the pad – she then snaps the straight leg to the right, striking the pad following through the pad as she retracts the hook kick as she would a round house kick (next photo).
